À travers "L’instant T”, mon travail met en scène l’humain, lui-même en action au centre du cadre, la ville est son décor. Pris sur le vif ; les passants, les gens de rue deviennent les acteurs de mes photographies…

des héros éphémères qui se figent dans un instant suspendu.

L’instant n’est pas une durée, c'est une respiration temporelle, un moment suspendu, un point très précis dans le temps qui ne sera ni le même avant,
ni après. Seule la photo et l’instinct de son photographe peuvent capter

cet instant "Volé”.

"L'instant T" n’a pas besoin de mise en scène, il est imprévu, simple et lisible.
Il est davantage question d'opportunisme et d'agilité que de technicité.

Homme d’image et de concept, Pascal Fessmann est Directeur artistique dans la publicité et le design graphique et créateur de l’agence “La Compagnie Créative” Il enseigne également les techniques de communication et de l’image à l’Académie Charpentier - 75006 Paris et à l’IIM Digital School (Institut de

l’image et du Multimédia) qui est la première école de française du digital, créée en 1995 à Paris-La Défense.

 

 

Through "L’instant T”, my work stages the human being, himself in action in the center of the frame, the city is its decor. Taken on the spot; the passers-by, the street people become the actors of my photographs...

ephemeral heroes who freeze in a suspended moment.

The instant is not a duration, it is a temporal breath, a suspended moment, a very precise point in time which will be neither the same before nor after. Only the photo and the instinct of its photographer can capture this "Stolen" moment. The "L’Instant T”, does not need any staging, it is unexpected, simple and readable. It is more a question of opportunism and agility than of technicality.

A man of image and concept, Pascal Fessmann is an artistic director in advertising and graphic design and owner of the agency "La Compagnie Créative". He also teaches communication and image techniques at the

Académie Charpentier - 75006 Paris and at the IIM Digital School (Institut de l'image et du Multimédia) which is the first French digital school, created in 1995 in Paris-La Défense.
